My question is I need to strip the paint off my Super Vee and I would like to know what type of paint stripper I should use?

Ya know what I would do, call a place that paints airplanes, all airplanes that are repainted MUST BE STRIPPED, by law, due to weight factor. They would know the right stuff, not to hurt the aluminum.
or call your local DUPONT paint supplier.

Industrial finishes sells a product call aircraft paint stripper. Most car paint supply houses carry it.

one thing about aircraft stripper is you must be completly protected from getting even a small drop on your skin , it will cause extreme discomfort, gogels are a must as this stuff can blind easily and a bucket of soapy water to wash your self with if there is contact

Or..... you could just knock down the high spots and put vinyl over the paint. GBS is the man to talk to on Ifish if you're interested....

I know I'll never paint an aluminum boat again..... or sharkhide it.

GBS is doing my boat but for the best results I stripped all the paint off the aircraft stripper work it only took a couple hours and the paint was off I took pic's and when I get the whole job done I will post them wich will be about 4 weeks out as that the wait for gbs to fit my boat in

That would be me, GreenButtSkunk. GBS for short.
I am an Ifish sponsor (Coho Design, Inc.) for Boat graphics, vinyl boat wraps (like shown)
and lettering, as well as custom signage. Brian opted for new half wrap, custom decals, new reg. numbers.
It's nice to take an ugly duckling and make it pretty again.
Thanks Brian, glad you like the finished product. It was a pleasure working with you and your father.
I am looking forward to that fishing trip offer.
