I'm installing a bay kit on a 1999 40 hp Yamaha and have a pretty good idea of the procedure. Anyone with experience doing this have any tips/ideas to make it easier/go smoother. Also I'm going to hang the motor on the boat this weekend and am looking for the same kind of tips/ideas? The holes drilled in the transom for the previous motor will not work for this motor, I assume my best bet is to get them welded? Thanks
