Does anyone know how Walter Wirth Lake is or walling pond is? The river looks blown so i'm going try my luck at some trout. Anyone know of anything being caught? Looks like they released sometime this week. I plan on going friday and saturday. Thanks for the help

No first hand information Rookie, but according to this ODFW report (2/21/07) they've both recently been stocked. I drive past Walter Wirth Lake on I-5 often coming home from work and there's usually quite a few people fishing it after stocking... like right now.

Went out Friday. Saw about dozen or more fishermen and women. Didn't see much action. Tried power bait and salmon eggs. Not even a nibble. There were people throwing spinners but they just looked cold . I might try again next friday. But only saw one person with a fish not a big one either

Rookie, A fish is a fish is a fish is a fish, and one more than I can say that I have hooked lately.
Keep going as you cannot catch them at home.
:yay: FISH ONLY BITE WET HOOKS :yay:

Try berkley power eggs any color really. The best way to rig them is under a bobber with some split shots.Hope you all try it sometime. I have had 30 fish days at alot of local ponds/lakes.I let them all go and I always use single barbless hooks so they go unharmed.Good luck
