This ad is sort of a preview before it goes on Craigslist this weekend. I am trying to find time this week to have the insurance company replace the cracked windshield, then it goes up for sale. 1987 Dodge Dakota 4X4 with 3.9L V-6, Auto, custom wheels and good tires, straight body with nice matching fiberglass canopy, 135k miles, just passed DEQ last weekend, over $1000 in recent work done. $2,000.

I will try to add pics, but I am having trouble with my card-reader, so it may take a couple of days.

Bump with more info and an apology to FSHNXTC:

I have been too busy to deal with this for the past several months due to moving / remodeling the new house. The truck has a tune-up issue of some kind, and I'm not good with complex carbeurators. Anyway, when I originally posted the ad, an ifisher drove all the way to scappoose to see it and it didn't run right. The truck always ran great before the DEQ tune-up, but for some reason is acting differently now. From the other ifisher's description, and my subsequent test drive, I thought it was a problem with the choke, so I took it back to the mechanic and told him it was running rough when cold. He tightened the choke, but now it is too rich when cold (runs good, but carbon comes out the exhaust until the choke kicks off), and it didn't fix the real issue. There is something else funky with the carb - it seems to starve for fuel when you gun the throttle. I changed the fuel filter and checked the accellerator pump, but it still chokes and backfires when you floor it at low speeds. Anyway, I don't have time to fix it myself, so I thought I'd throw it out here in case someone wants to take it as is for less money ($1500 firm). If not, I'll take it to a different mechanic next week then raise the price back to where it was. By the way, we're in Portland now if anyone wants to check it out.
