FishinMission -
There have been a lot of boats at Sellwood from sunup until at least 1:00 pm the last couple days. Normally when the boats stay out that long, somebody is getting into fish. Have you been down there, or are you fishing the Milwaukie-Lake Oswego stretch?
I have a strong gut feeling that we'll see a big improvement on the Willamette during the next week. I'm torn as to fish there or start venturing out on the Columbia from about the 205 bridge up to the mouth of the Sandy. Once one fishing starts to pick up, we should have a good shot no matter which river we're on.
Good luck!

Bobber...got good reports in the last day or so of things lighting up down by Fred's. Gonna head down there tomorrow...a bud will be in the Milwaukie-Lake O stretch where I usually go for an update to me tomorrow also. Fishchecker at Milwaukie yesterday had ZERO fish at 4:30 p.m. Look for an update from me here as new topic tomorrow afternoon. They're coming!!

Fished the Mollala for a couple of hours this morning, no action. On the way home I stopped to support FMS, then checked out Clackamette Park - saw a plunker get a steelhead, above the mouth of the Clack.
About 100 boats between the falls and Meldrum. Didn't see any "fish-on" activity. This was about 11:30.

I fished OC this morning and saw a few (4-5) fish caught, I think it was a mix of salmon and steelhead, but it definitely wasn't what I'd call good fishing. Of the chinook I have seen or heard of being caught up there this year, quite a few of them have been released because they have the adipose intact.
I missed a fish this morning right at 7:00 and never touched another one. I left the river right at 11:00

Ya, The slough report has been good this last week. I would suggest that Portland Metro folks might want to try any stretch between Rocky Point and the lower Portland Harbor. O.C. folks, hang in there...a good batch is comin' your way!
