Just curious on whether people base the times they fish in the Columbia or Willamette near Portland on the tides, or do you just fish when you've got the time regardless of what the tides are?

Irontrader, I fish the fall run with the tides, but it does not seem to make much difference with the springers. I have noticed springers definely bite better early morning!

I would agree with Kenia. Can only add that I've noticed some of the good bites have been happening in the last hour before low slack where I fish.
