We have some unique good monikers/handles for some of our members. Which ones do you like the best. I can't think of all my favorites at once so I will have to come back and either edit in more or add a new reply post with more good monikers. ...

... The 2 that come to mind right off hand are "Wheresmybobber?" and "Nutinbutnet". Should we have some kind of contest of who's got the best Ifish moniker? And/or the best new idea for one? - RT

How could I forget "O'Mykiss". Now that's a very cool moniker. And there's nothing wrong with what it means either. Right Grant? Tell 'em. He isn't bragging about his kissing ability. Is he? - RT

I would have to say mine is "Wheresmybobber" That is music to my ears on a slow day of fishing. The first time I saw that moniker it really cracked me up because I knew exactly what he was trying to say(I think). Of course, RT will come up with some sort of perverse sub conscious meaning that has nothing to do with what the poor guy was trying to say. But then again RT is usually sub conscious anyway. images/icons/rolleyes.gif

Man that 'wink face' message icon above is scary! ... Yes Grant, I am asleep half the time I post on here. In fact, I know I am dreaming this right now and it won't be here when I awake. ....

In honor of new members seemingly joining daily these days, let's put up some moniker ideas to help them avoid a lame one. Not that these will help any ...

- "Fishinskewl" ... Could mean 'Fishing is cool' or 'Fishing School'. That one is kewl!

- "Lowholer" ... For new Washington guys and some guides images/icons/grin.gif . jk

- "Makinwaves" ... Literally or figuratively.

- "GETOFFMYLAND" ... Self explainatory.

- "Headsnappin" ... Steelheading.

- "Oooouch" ... ?

- "Watchthis" ... A 'Yall expletive images/icons/grin.gif .

- "Face" ... ?

- "Allseasonradical" ... Good sheeyat.

- "Plugthis" ... ?

- "HeydudeIgotyourfishrighthere" ... Hmmm.

- "Imeanit" ... ?

- "I'llturnthisboatrightaround" ... No.

- "Fishinseamsgood" ... That seems right.

- "TRUCKOFF" ... Aaaah, naaah.

- "HolyCowlitzBatman" ... Can NOT get any lamer than that - just try to!

- "Tipsup"

- "Sixonfourlanded"

- "*%#$*&#@^*"

Goodnight. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hey RT, I got your worst moniker right here....

Isn't your other alias, "BENDING_OVER" ? I don't think I would run into a men's locker room trying to greet too many people with that name images/icons/grin.gif

cool sturgeon name as well. images/icons/cool.gif

I don't like my moniker. Any ideas for a new one. There is no meaning behind it, I just happened to run out of beer the night I signed up with ifish and had no choice but to drink a bottle of wine. That happened to be named Meridian.

Ya, I went with my name too, but I was going to go with "Leadhead". I earned that nickname my rookie year salmon fishing the banks of the Rogue. I was WAY to enthusiastic watching a guy pull in a salmon. I stupidly stood right behind him and peered over his right shoulder. The fish boiled to the top, hook came free, and a three oz sinker drilled me directly in the forehead. Whenever I returned to that same hole every year after that, everyone called me leadhead. Heck, most of them thought it was my real name.

Well this moniker contest is getting interesting. I once saw a dory over on the Nestucca that was full of 4 Or five drunks. As they approached one of them shouted "LOOK OUT FOR THE SCOW" As they passed my boat i observed the name they had chosen. Now this might not be appropriate and i apologize to those who take offense but i think i should share this. The name on the dory which had part of the side missing as well as other parts of the boat was named CODSUCKER. I still laugh when i think about it.

And of course Bigstew had a list of candidates that made it a tough decision for his moniker:

- Bigchew
- WillYaTieThisForMe
- WhatsWrongWithBass?
- Anyone Looking?
- What?

Good ones above buddy. Oh, I turned your list of moniker candidates over and noticed some others I left off from the back of the page:

- Sidestakes
- Patches
- IthinkImightHaveaFishOn
- MoveYaDamnRock
- AreWeGonnaDrinkBeerorWhat

I heard in the old days you could have called RT "wheresmyscissors" when the nates were around.
Superfly could have been called "areyousuretwosthelimit"
HeyYall was called "lookslikemysister" when carp fishing.
Salmonator went with "cigarfishinator"

What about:
JustHelpinAnEmuOverTheFence..... images/icons/shocked.gif
or
FeatherCandy

Actually I like WheresMyBobber and WhakemStakem and several others.

Hmmm,
TastesLikeChicken....

It's a good thing we have a sense of humor on this board.

If I were to change it would have to be....

NoNookie
NoSteelie
SmallCrabs
NutinButBait
LineLimp
ThereAreMySandshrimp..... You get the idea...

I would have to agree to that. I should have left you to your Bass. I can remember not to
long ago when I had to talk you into going Salmon and Steelhead fishing. My moniker
should be "whydidntileavejoealonehewashappybassfishingandnotc rowdingupmyriver"

Salmonator,

Ahhh-Haaa, another closet bass guy images/icons/shocked.gif Don't worry, I won't tell nobody else. BTW, was that your sled with the glitter flake on it images/icons/wink.gif Just curious.

Here's the one I was thinking of instead of "Jellyhead" -- "SpinyRay"
