It would be nice if Ifisher people used a certain radio channel to monitor and get reports on. Anybody interested. Possibly channel 7 for luck.

Watch out for the Coasties ... most channels are designated for specific uses under FCC regulation. 7 is for commercial ship to ship. You might irritate the tugs if you decide to use 7. Sport fishing channels are 19, 68, 69, 71, 72 & 78. On the coast most fishers use 68 & 69.

In the St. Helens area 68 and 69 can get pretty busy with other boaters. Channel 72 is a good choice for that area. I scan and monitor a few so give dogfishboy a shout. images/icons/smile.gif

hey dan i've been fishing out of bayport in the mult chan and me and my buddy have been running ch 14...its a nice quiet chann..
i'll be out there this saturday...give me a shout....
