One of my buddies reported using a lighted spin glow as an attractor last weekend and swears that the two bites he had was the salmon taking the spinglow. Felt the fish both times, head shakes and nothing on the hook set. Hearing was unscratched both times. Anybody have any experience with these new fangled gadgets? Soundl like then might be worth trying.........

I have seen them on ebay. They are pretty spendy for a lure

Tackle counter at Fisherman's in OC had a couple. Dunno if they are demo or for sale, but they could probably tell ya. Pretty spendy IMHO too. images/icons/wink.gif

But you don't lose many lures plunking. I still have some old beat up spin-n-glows from when I was 10 years old.

Bobs in Longview sells them for $10.00 each.
They come in 8 or 9 different colors. Don't buy any cuz they don't work images/icons/wink.gif Use em with a jet-diver or plunk em. They also work off of downriggers.

I see this sort of thing as an investment. Would I invest $10 if I thought it would pay me back a couple 20 pound salmon? No doubt about it. images/icons/tongue.gif
