Yes , the water is low and clear, but the steelhead have to keep coming in as their clocks are ticking. The bigger coastal rivers are fishing pretty good even though the flows are low. Side drifting tiny baits with yarn in the riffles has been working, but bobber and jig put some fish to the boat today as well. Went 4 for 8 on friday with a friend and 3 for 5 today with one client. Saw only one other boat on the river today.
Focus on the lower stretches of rivers just above tidewater. There are also some fish in the canyons that have been holding there for a while. This is where the bobber/jig works good. I have a couple of openings after the Sportsmans show this month and 4 days open in march if anyone is interested.
