There I was just minding my own business when I heard it. CRASH…..rev, grind…
Boat repair by blond. Been boatless ever since.
Got to go out once with BOE who tried hard to sink his Duckworth…. No harm done (still waiting for a rematch)

Boat was expected back from the shop today. Won’t be till next week http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Oh well, I’d rather have it done RIGHT than FAST. I guess both would have been o.k. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It doesn’t seem like I have missed much given the posts here.

Finally broke down and got online at home. (look at the time) Last words I heard from my wife was “don’t stay up all night”. Do you think she was talking about this night http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif?

Well, just so you all know, I haven’t been lurking. Just been dealing with equipment problems (boat, computer, etc.)

Someone tell me a story to keep my faith. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

More fish this year. Who is up for cutting power to our neighbors down south so we can give this great batch of smolts a ride to the feeding grounds and much needed water for the record number of fish expected to make their way up to spawn.

With projected numbers like these maybe even I can catch a Salmon or two. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Well, lets hear it…

This ain’t no $h&T……

So Mr. Fish', ya want a story to help you keep the faith. Alright. Here goes: they told you your boat would be ready today; and you faithfully believed that. Hahahahahaa. So now they say in a week. Hee hee. Well keep the faith Fish', ol' RT has the truth for ya. They will have your boat ready by the time we get enough rain to fill Detroit Reservoir and the Bonneville Pool. Don't fool. Be cool. You'll drool. Some things are just worth waiting for.

Mr. Fisherman,

You sound bummed, but you're not alone. I've been fighting at work to get myself set up for a day off during the week to go springer fishing. Finally made it yesterday. Thursday evening, fresh packs of herring and some of Marie's prawns ready, rigs tied, boat ready. Got up early Friday morning to go and decided to check out iFish to see if there was anything encouraging I could capture. Saw the thread about "nets" and got curious and opened it. Nothing like going through all this to find the nets went back in Thursday and stayed in until 3am Friday!

Bagged the trip and decided to save my gas and patience. Day spent doing farmwork.

Maybe by the time you get your boat back, the nets will be parked and you can use it. Hopefully, that won't be when Detroit fills up as RT mentioned...because I doubt that's going to happen this year unless March really "goes out like a lion" as the saying goes.

RT,

That blonde calibration job on my boat is going to save me thousands of dollars!

By the time I get my boat back there won't be enough water to use it or any fish to catch! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I can spend all the money I save on adult beverages to ease the pain! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Maybe I'll start a lil' version of a ranch I've er' heard of....

The Emu Ranch with Hot chicks for worn out, dated, x-tra large fishing guides.(JK http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
RT, I love ya man but it sounds like you stayed up past yer bed time....

Tight lines
