Ive bank fished the clackamas this year a few times for winter steelhead and have had a couple of take downs but no fish yet. I was wondering if it is getting late for the steelhead or are they still scattered throughout the river. If so I have been fishing at cross park and it seems really slow. should i try eagle creek or not? thanks for any info

Adam. Try moving up river. By this time the major push will be on the upper stretches. It not to say you wouldn't get one at Cross, but your success rate will be better further up. I hope this board has been helpful for you. If your a solo type of fisherman give me an e-mail and I'll be more than glad to turn you onto a few sure shot places.
