I'm under the understanding that the gillnetters have been in for the last 5 days with very short breaks over this span. I also understand they're in again tonight. Can anyone else confirm this. Was going to try it tommorow, but now I'm reconsidering.

That's what I've heard too...Also heard they've got close to thier 6000 fish...

In at noon Thurs, out at 3:00 AM Friday. "Suppossed" to be the last commercial opening. A copy of the official WDFW notice is in a post I put up under the thread Columbia nets earlier tody.

I saw them from the Astoria-Megler Bridge at 6 p.m. (Thur) as I was coming home from an unusual SW Wash. fishing day (I'll post about it seprate). I saw at least a dozen gillnet boats working from just above the bridge on up to the Tongue Pt. area.
