Lab. pups!!! 1st of all, Jeannie I didn't put this on the for sale board because they are not born yet so they are not for sale:shrug: if you prefer this post to be there? Feel free to move it, but this is just an announcement of a up coming litter!!!!!!!!! Anyway!
We will be having a litter this spring, from two very excellent dogs. The Sire comes from Tiger Mountain Pointing Labradors and has over 40 AKC registered titles in his recent Pedigree ( I can describe him in 3 words, BIRDIE BIRDIE BIRDIE ). The Dam comes from Detering Kennels and has 20+ AKC registered titles in her Pedigree. Both of these dogs come from hunting families, are loved and well cared for, we would like their pups to recieve the same well being! When these pups are born I will post pictures and price on the for sale board, if your enquiring in a pup in the near future and want to hold a spot for this litter, PM me if interested!
PS: Both dogs are Yellow Labs!!!!!!!!
Thanks for reading:

Is that the Detering Labs from just North of Eugene? I bought my yellow from there and have been absolutely pleased. She is an awesome dog. Do you know the name of the dam? Can't wait to see these great dogs.

Well the Sire is my bird dog Hawkins and I'm really excited about this. If anyone has any questions regarding my dog please feel free to ask. I know we are going to have some beautifull yellow dogs on the ground this April. I bet they hunt like champs too.

Do Tiger Mountain and Detering specialize in hunting lines? Field lines? Show? British or American?

Skein: We will get pictures of both of them together real soon, and I will post them on this thread!
longarm: American, I would absolutley say Tiger Mountain specializes in hunting lines, and field lines, as for show?????? According to the pedigrees there are twice as many titles on the TMPL's blood line than Detering's! Both dogs are hunting dogs period, we do not enter them into hunting/field trials. I put the AKC title info from the pedigrees in my 1st post for those that it does matter. I personaly could care less if my dog's mother was a field champion or that my buddie's dog has several titles in his blood line, I think its cool, but it will not have any affect on what the asking price will be! Let me know if there is anymore questions!

Raghorn,
Thanks for the info on Tiger Mountain. The reason I asked - and I hope I am not hijacking your thread - is that I have a lab I want to have bred next year and am looking for leads to kennels with HUNTING LINES stud dogs. Couldn't find any info on the web re: Tiger Mountain. If you have a contact number would you mind sending it to me?
Also - can't wait to see pics of your pups!

Well here is one of Hawkins posing last spring for Michelle. I'm sorry for my lack of photos, I don't always carry my camera with me in the field.

I'm leaning towards a Tiger Mountain pup right now, so I'd be interested to see pictures of both sire and dame and also both pedigrees.
Also, what about OFA and CERF? Have both parents passed? What were their ratings?
Thanks

There's the pic. Sorry for the delay. I am not going to go through the ofa and other certs. He's 7 and runs like a deer. His blood line is certed so that's good enough for me. If I was trying to make money at this I would go with all of the bells and whisltes.
