I need a pistol in the 9mm to .45 range. Stainless would be great because I will be outside with it. $200-$350 range. Please send pm. Thanks

I love my Taurus PT145 (.45 ACP), and it is stainless. I saw one not too long ago at a particular warehouse for sportspersons in Portland, $309.

have you had any trouble with your taurus jamming?

I have a Ruger P-89DC in stainless. 9mm with three mags. Factory box. It is very clean and very nice. $320

No, and I've put hundreds of rounds through it.

I think the issue was with the older Taurus Millenium, this one is a Millenium "Pro" and from what I've experienced and read on the internet, these are trouble free.

I will second the Mil Pro PT145. Mine has close to 3000 rounds through it and hasn't had a problem with the exception of Magtech ammo. Because of the hard primers it has sometimes failed to fire on the first strike. However, it always does on the second. I've also had problems with this ammo in a Glock, SIG and a S&W revolver. All defensive ammo has functioned at 100%. The earlier non "Mil Pro" versions had issues with cracked frames.

Overall, the Taurus is very concealable, lightweight, high capacity (for it's size) and light on recoil. Mine also accepts a Para Ord P14 magazine giving it 14+1 rounds of .45. Because of the short barrel, I stick with either 185gr Golden Sabers or 185gr Cor-Bon DPX's.

I PM'ed you some pics so you can judge the size in relation to other firearms.

I've got a millenium pro in .40 cal which holds 10 in the mag which is inpressive considering it so compact. No problems with jamming.
