I'm looking for outdoorsy folks!! They're getting tougher to find.....I know there's people here!
The Oregon State Office of the Bureau of Land Management, Cadastral Survey, has its national temporary summer seasonal job announcements out on the USA Jobs web site. These Jobs are at many locations across the nation, but the local western Oregon and Washington locations are what I am interested in getting the word out on. Roseburg, Medford, CoosBay, Eugene, Salem, Portland and Aberdeen (WA) are the locations we're looking to fill positions at. We are looking for folks to work in the woods on a Cadastral (Land) Surveying Crew. The work is arduous, but most enjoy the work environment and the comradery of a crew. Surveying Technicians and/or Laborers typically work with a Professional Land Surveyor performing Boundary Surveys in timberlands.
