Spring break for Oregon kids starts March 24 this year. Any suggestions for that time of year for best fishing opportunities fishing from a 19' sled?
Thinking of Gold Beach or Brookings. Are there springers in the Rogue? Do the dates coincide with the run? Appreciate your ideas.

I don't know about you...but that week I'll be beginning to hit the springers pretty hard right in your area on the Willamette!!!

I'm with FM. You are approaching 'prime-time' for the lower Willamette at that time of year. I'd hang around here and attack the Multnomah Channel if I were you.
Generally, it seems, the Rogue fish start surging in on a good hightide series around mid-April.
Yes, there will be a few Springers in the Rogue... I would also look at fishing from steelies, wiggle warts and tads are my favorites on the Rogue...
Steelhead fishing in the areas is still strong in March..
