What a great fishing show! I remember seeing it a few years ago, and now that I have the Outdoor Channel, I 'caught' them on the air last night - to my delight.

What a great show! Besides being beautiful and having the ability to fill out a pair of neoprenes like, well, never mind; they have excellent fishing trips and tips!

My wife called me a sicko and just shook her head while I was glued to the tv last night. She didn't believe me that it was JUST the fishing.....

I just found their website. No, I haven't been entirely obsessed, just really curious today after seeing the show last night. A few years ago STS had an article about the two and the success of their show. I remember reading it and was looking forward to weekends of Fishing With Shelley and Courtney on Fox Sports - you know, curl up in my chair with popcorn and take copious notes about their fishing techniques. And admire their nice hair. And BTW, who in the world would do their hair and put on make-up before going out on the ocean? Marty Peterson? Ha! Courtney and Shelley do, and they look great! Anyway, somehow I lost touch with the show and I haven't seen it for over a year when last night I turn on the Outdoor Channel and there they were. It was great!

They seem like nice gals, but as far as a fishing show, it's only good by default. Sure, I'd rather watch C&S catch some salmon or sturgies, than watch Bill Dance catching smallies, but I'd really like more than 10 minutes of fishing in a half-hour show. I'll watch Emiril Lagasse if I want a cooking show, GIVE ME FISHING.

BTW, I'm all for hot women used as a tool to promote ANY show. But, I'm sorry to say I'd rather watch Os and RT catch fish than watch Baywatch........I'm a sick man http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I do really enjoy the show; the fishing, the cooking, the tips - it's all good! And Shelly and Courtney are great! You're right in that they come accross as regular fisher-people (fisherwomen?) and they offer a lot of information that make the show a joy to watch. You've created a great fishing show!

If you ever need to do a Shelley and Courtney show in Easter Oregon for summer steelhead, PLEASE TAKE ME! I'll ask great questions, and well, although I don't really have anything special to offer or other redeeming qualities besides being a great guy, I'm sure it will make a good show!

The Deschutes River, The John Day, The Grande Rhonde, or the Wallowa rivers would be great locations for Shelley and Courtney

Welcome to Ifish. I'm glad you stopped in, except that you caught one of our silly guy talk kind of threads. Please check out some others too http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif . I happen to be a B.C. fishing affectionado (sp?) - big time. From my experiences fishing B.C. saltwater to especially fishing the trophy rivers in the Terrace/Skeena region, I just love it up there! I've posted on here before that in my opinion B.C. is the single best year-round fishing entity that exists. You people are very lucky to have that and the beautiful scenery too. ...

I have a good show suggestion for you. A couple helicopter pilots from the Terrace airport to fly a couple rafts up the roadless wild Kitlope River in July for Kings and lots of other fish. Or August; and you could combine silver fishing the Douglas Channel with it - or have 2 shows out of one trip. It is on my wish list ever since I fished the nearby Kitimat River. The "Kitti" gets lots of good fish but also lots of fishing traffic though - the Kitlope gets practically none. I have an excellant article about it in one of my Beautiful British Columbia magazines but I can't find which issue. They could tell you. Of course I would be honored to row one of the rafts for you on such a trip, and add some of my fishing knowledge to yours. Shelly and Courtney will never respond to this (dang it!), and therefore, they will not fall for my idea of taking me fishing! I thought I had a great idea of advertising myself as 'the average guy' and I'm sure that would help ratings. Who would want to see someone famous when they can watch just an average guy catch salmon? It gives the average guy hope.

BUT NO! Denied again.....
