Tight lines Grandpa
For you the one who taught me to fish, to respect elders, and myself!
For you the one who gave his life to serve this country so that I/We can be FREE!
For you Grandpa the one that miss the knowledge from.
This is for YOU!
I will see you at the gates in time. I love you!!!

Sorry for your loss. I lost my Grandfather 3 days ago (last Friday), so I share your pain. Mine was 86 and served in WW2. He was a great and caring man, and while I am sad, I am also glad that he is out of his misery and in a better place.

I am sorry for your loss, yet thankful for the memories you have and will always have of him. I have a Grandfather i lost almost 16 years ago to the day, and i still get a big smile on my face when i catch myself repeating the goofy little Sayings he used to tell me when i was younger, and now as i say them to my Daughter, i know that he's looking down and getting a laugh in as well.........Im incredibly greatful for the times we did have, and will someday share again. I wish you the best in you and youre families healing process this holiday season.

Yeah, thanks guys for the comfort. I found comfort the moment that I heard that he got saved When I asked his preacher if he was. He asked the Lord into his heart at the age of 88. I felt then the comfort that I myself WILL see him again and enjoy the Joy of Eternal fishing with him. And for you losses just give the glory and you will see them again. With a great big smile.
