I have one just like that in just about that condition that I said I would never sell but I could buy a couple of new corado's for that kind of money. It's got me thinking....

Wow, $249.00 when I looked. If I didn't love my pair of 251's I'd list them on e-bay. I know it's a great reel, but would you pay that kind of money?

OMG I have a 201 also in very good shape and would likely sell it for under $200... The 251 was farrrrr better wish mine wasn't worn out, broke, likely non repairable.

I have a 201 SG. Its not quite in as good of shape. I bought it new when I was in 7th grade. I will never part with it. The 201SG isthebest reel ever built.

Os if you use a left hand retreive you don't waste any time switching hands to reel http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif Unless you were born a lefty that is. If memory serves me the 201 came out in 1981 shortly after they came out with the 200(which cranked from the wrong side). http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Whoa, I have two of those sitting in the garage. I just keep them rigged up on light rods for shad fishing.
