Fished the Wilson today and just didn't feel like fiddling with unhooking fish! Not! Hit the "just above Mills Bridge" at about 0730, pouring down rain, river at about 5'. Nothing.
Headed for Marie's to scab up on some of her scent. Nice meeting her and what a pleasant person she is. If you haven't made it there yet, suggest you do...she had LOTS of bait and is just a really nice lady to talk to. I probably wasn't as pleasant feeling like a drowned otter.
Back up the Wilson to the upper end and fished hard at Cedar Creek plus a couple of more choice holes. Nothing. Just not my day.
River is up, probably in the 5.5' range by the time I filled the coffee cup and pointed the "Ram" over the hill. Excellent color for anyone needing a day of playing hooky on Monday. Fish?? I'm sure they are there.
