Kind of a weird question, but I remember seeing a post with a picture of your boat a while back, and I saw a similar boat on the water near Longview Friday. Of course, now I can't remember where you said you fish, mostly because I'm not really a sturgeon fisherman, so it didn't stick. Anyway, I was just curious if it was in fact your boat or not. Don't know why, but anyhow.......

The answer is Yes, but I was hoofing it under the 205 bridge. I got in 20 or so casts for IKE and then became a loser magnet. The boat 'Pilar' languished in the garage Friday and kicked major butt on Saturday winning 2nd in the St Helens sturgeon derby.
The gators are giving their all right at the high slack tide. At least that's what my buddies say. At about 12 or so Saturday, all hell broke loose for those in the proper location. That was right about high slack. The Columbia is lower than it was in August. The fence at Kelley point was 6 foot out of the water at low tide.
