Hooked three fish today , two of the fish were airborne native buck's , love that in the air cartwheelin spastic stuff, the third fish was a hatchery buck, his fight was'nt nearly as impressive, but he was chrome . How about a comparison thread anybody? http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif MIKIE

Mikie:
Sound like you did well. I saw a bunch of fish caught in the north fork of the Alsea today but none for me. Serves me right to stubbornly continue to flyfish. My day wasn't a total loss though. I did hook one fish, but not until switching flies a thousand times. Todays ticket was a black wooly bugger. I think it was still a little too clear and low to use the big flies. Anyway, the fish I hooked proceeded to immediately break my line at the knot so I slid down the pool and kept trying. Not 5 minutes later a fellow arrive opposite of me and proceeds to hook a nice fish, probably the same one. He was the same fellow I watched catch a similar fish last weekend. Anyway, although the river was low and clear and it was raining pretty well, I saw at least 5 fish hooked in less than about 1 mile of river. Get out there!

WTG rob . Hey pray for a bunch of rain, right now the north is low and clear . The whole river need's the water . There's some real good fly water down around mill creek also. There's nothing wrong with getting broke off, still make's me smile . http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif MIKIE.
