I have a 20 foot Willie Predator and am interested in having a travel cover made for it. I would appreciate any recommendations from Ifish members for a local fabricator in the Portland/vancouver area. Thanks in advance.

I don't know a shop in Portland, but be sure you use Top-Gun material. I have a cover made of SunBrella, and it is meant to be for towing, only storage. :)

Jerry's Upholstery in Boring is well known for his quality work. I've had him make two travel covers for me.... about $350 and well worth the investment. He really pays attention to detail!

Carol's out off Marine Drive on Bridgeton Road made my mooring cover (windshield to transom) for my 22' FishRite and it turned out great. I think the mooring cover came to about $450 and they used Top Gun material.

I would recommend a breathable material. Heaver the better.

Top Gun for a travel cover

Sunbrella for mooring and storage cover, it breathes:laugh:

Top Gun is waterproof and does not breath. You will have mold if you store with Top Gun cover.

Ask me how I know LOL:laugh:

I also have a 20' Willie Predator Center Console. I purchased one from Willie when I bought the boat in 2003. The top fits like a glove. If I recall correctly, the top cost $600.00 and has been worth every penny.

I have a 20 foot Northriver Scout and just had a mooring / travel cover made for it. It fits like a glove, has 4 straps per side that go to the trailer and a roped hem with an attached rachet at transom to snug it good and tight. It is top gun and with the motor cut outs it breaths fine. I called 4 different shops that ranged from $750.00 to over $1000.00. If you PM me I will tell you who made it for me. Incredible fit and quality and quick turn around.

:agree:I second that, I bought mine from Cabelas 6 years ago and it is still preforming perfectly. Water tight and all seams tight, travel and mooring cover combo. Very pleased.
