I have a single axle EZloader for our 19' Arima. It is (in my opinion) way to much weight for the one axle. Have any of you ever added an axle to a single axle trailer? How much did it cost?

Here is some approx costs
Axle 200
Fenders 200
wheels 200
Brakes? 500

Placement would be critical to make sure you have the correct tongue weight. You may have to go with lighter springs on the existing axle so you don't over spring it. If it's a torsion axle you may have to replace the axle assy. You may be better off to sell the existing trailer and replace it with a new tandem.

I have seen some pretty good prices for tandem trailers in the 18' to 20' range on craigs list. Might buy one of those and sell yours.
