What do you use for treating the seams (trying to 'leakproof' the top and sides). Will Scotch Gard work?
Thanks

I've used camp dry. Joe's and Bi Mart have it.

I use "Seam Sealer" from REI, kinda expensive but works real well....what ever you use, treat both sides of the seam.....

Troutski..... Looks like REI's seam seal comes in a tube. Does it leave a residue? Or is it clear? Just wondering... I need to re-seal my top too. Thanks, T :)

my top builder told me to leave mine (top gun) outside on the boat for a couple weeks and the dust/rain/weather will naturally fill the pin holes. (seriously) - and it worked.

The more proactive route - use paraphin wax - or if you've ever ordered any waxed Filson gear - the container of extra wax they send you would work.

I use the scotch guard. It works.

The stuff I used came in a "roll on plastic bottle" I am sure it was a liquid sealer.
