Requesting Prayer for new Grandson

Our newest grandson was born this morning and is ~6 weeks before he was due. They had to transport him to the neonatal unit a Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene as we was not breathing on his own. The prognosis is good, but if you would say a prayer for Colton and the staff that is caring for him at the hospital, we would very much appreciate it.

I will be praying. My son was 4 weeks early and had to be on Oxygen for 30 mins of his life and had to spend 6 days in a enquibater.

We want to thank everyone for uplifting Colton in their prayers. Yesterday he was taken off the ventilator and is now breathing on his own. His mother was released from the hospital in Corvallis yesterday morning, and was able to hold Colton along with Dad and big sister in the NICU, although big brother who is only 5 years old will probably have to wait until Colton comes home to get to snuggle with him. Please continue to hold Colton, and the staff at Sacred Heart in your prayers.

I am Glad to hear that the little one is doing well.
I am glad to hear Mom is doing well.
How long will your Grandson be in the NICU and which Hospital is he at? Would like to bring something up for the little guy and the Family. Is there and address I can send something to?

Colton continues to improve and gain weight. Mom is able to stay in the Guest house near the hospital in keep a close hand on him. Please continue to pray for God's will for everyone involved. Due to Colton being in the Natal Intensive Care Unit, no outside material can be brought in. We have to thoroughly scrub for three minutes if we even go outside for any period of time.

When my son was able to come home I cried because I was so happy to bring my son home.

Colton had his first birthday this past Thursday. My mother (who has three sons) frequently said that "it is a miracle for every boy born, for it grow to be a man".
