As simple as it would seem, I know it does not work that way. I ask the Lord to show me his lessons for me, and my mind wants an easy to understand answer. He must know my cell number  ......

But of course, what value would we glean from such an easy task....nothing!

Our heart must be true in desiring the Lord's will, or we would just be wanting the Lord to grant our will.

As I sit this morning in my meditation, looking out at this winter wonderland, and 16 cold degrees, with icicles hanging from my roof....
I had a lesson from the Lord sink past this skull of mush. I saw the gift of His nature, and how it pertains to the cycle of life.

Come spring, life abounds new all through out His nature kingdom. Buds give birth to new growth, with tender shoots, still soft and supple, not tainted by the demands the growing season will visit upon them.

All the animals in His kingdom give birth to their young, still in need of the warmth and nourishment, only a mother can provide. Growing each day to the wonderment and promise, their life path will provide and take.

Come summer, life is warm and easy. Our needs are met without great labor or fanfare. A time of leisure, a perfect time to direct our energy toward forging relationships with others. A simple time yes, but one that really holds the truth to who we are, if we take the easy time and invest it in things that will always live, long after our time past...

Fall...a time to gather in, to slow down, to reflect.
This is the first test to our works. Are we surrounded with the fruits of our labor, or the emptiness of a selfishly spent summer?

Winter...now, the door is closing, the ultimate test of who we are, will be revealed. Will it be dark and cold, or warm and well lit with memories of having lived an unselfish life...?

The door is almost shut, and the Lord makes one more attempt at providing us with His eternal plan.
The snow comes....it blankets all of the world in a perfect white calmness. Underneath, is covered all that lived that year, good, bad, or indifferent. Covered by the same promise of a pure white virgin snow...

Thank you :)

Nature plays out Gods plan annually, a repeated cycle.
Man, has only one cycle. I pray when the snow comes to cover me, the seeds I left will sprout in spring. Not to my glory, but His....
For I've no doubt of His promise, that if my seed was sowed properly, I'll be covered by His grace for all eternity. I can live for that!

Again, thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it

God Bless...
