Andrew, hopefully I'll be fishing the Met fairly often by January. Keep posting. I'm just too swamped to get out of town and risk getting stuck over there due to snow.

Im not too concerned but I will be very prepared..My 4wd Tacoma with snow tires handles the snow quite well..My tire chains will be on board too..Extra food and water..All that good stuff..If you would like to ride with me we can work something out...

Cool...Flyfishing24 and I are going to go hit the river..Will report upon return...If anyone else goes say hi if you see us..We will be in a green Tacoma with I-Fish sticker in the canopy window..:wave:

Well the fishing was not that great this weekend..I had two on and almost got one of them in..Flyfishing24 had a few on and that was about it..That seemed to be the way the day went for most of the people we talked to..Except for one guy who we saw hook and land a huge Bull Trout..This think was huge..He was using his own design Bunny leach that was enormous. He said it was his fourth one of the day..We could tell this guy really new what he was doing..Very nice guy , he was more than willing to share his techniques with us and even let us take a pic of him with his fish..We both took some pics and I will post some later..Its funny how much the fishing success changed in one week..The weather was cold and snowy and the drive over was not to bad..It was fun meeting another I-Fisher and still had a great day..

Was the guy using sinking line? What size was the fly? Was the fly imitating spent kokanie flesh and egg skien? Can't wait for the pics of the river wolf!
