Has anyone used the Fly-O before(see link below)? Would you know where I could find one? Thanks.

Where are you located?? I know a flyshop that carries them in Lebanon and the owner LOVES to use them as a teaching tool. The timing of casting an actual flyrod is VERY closely matched by the Fly-O. Casting that thing a few times improved my timing a great deal. The only drawback is that you can't shoot the yarn at the end of your cast. Definintely worth it for a beginner I would say. :twocents:

Well, it may seem obvious, but a flycasting instructor I once had made a similar device out of a three-foot long piece of dowel and some thick yarn. I'm guessing that it will probably cost less as well.
