J.Day on a fly.

I am hearing a lot of comotion about fishing the John Day river below the falls. Trolling Wiggle Warts, Bobber and shrimp etc.

Has anyone ever tried tossing a fly, like they do at Herman Creek ? Low and slow, Real, real Slow.

Just wondering.

About 2 Years back me and my dad went out there and tryed that. My dad got a 9 lb. off of it. but since then no just the good old sandshrimp but you should give it a shot.You will prop. have some good luck. I got 2 right above the Fall's last sunday. Both Chrome. well anyways get back to me on what you think. or if you try it.:cheers:.
