What I find helpful is to print out all kinds of verses that you find comfort in, and tape them everywhere. On your bathroom mirror, on your stove, on your fridge, on windows, on your computer screen. Surround yourself in the word and memorize verses and keep reciting them over and over.

The faith you will build is awesome... Plus, others will read it and even though they are just for you, they can't help but rub off.

A GREAT idea. Repetition, instills new beliefs, and hopefully new actions, through those beliefs.....

You reasoning is EXACTLY why we should spend time EVERYDAY, reading the bible. I can't tell you how many excuses I use to make, for NOT reading it daily, yet....I found time to watch the news, which only affirmed the negative views the media likes to hawk on us (bad news sales).

My life now is a testimony to the Lord's love, since I started January first, of this year to read it everyday. I can't say I understand it (all), but I read it. This will be my first time ever (in 53 years) of reading from cover to cover. Come '07, I'll start over again.....:yay:

IT works for me and boy is it handy having that "special" verse right at hand. My friends often do the same.

I read as much as I can about AP[Astral projection], as I beleive it is one of the Gift's God has given us, the ability to not only understand the Universe better, but to also visit many of the "place's" in this vast Universe.

Hi Jennie,

I logged in today and read about all the challenges you are facing and many thoughts came to mind. I don't really have any specific advise or verse that could comfort you because at certain times different versus speak to us, but I can say you have made a portion of this corner of the world a better place in many ways. You have always seen the bright side of issues and this had brought many smiles to faces I am sure, including me! You have changed people, influenced an industry, created many long lasting relationships, and discovered and touched a nerve in commonality with thousands of people. You have brought love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, fruits that not all can say they have but many have tried, including myself, but seem to fall short. You are an inspiration to many, a hope for thousands, and a champion for the love of Christ. You exemplify what sacrifice means by the love and compassion you show for others in ways that touches the deepest recesses of people's hearts. You have demonstrated unconditional love to those that have attacked you and given grace in return. Your heart has possessed qualities that many of us seek but fail to look past the barriers that are in place and are impenetrable. Your graciousness is full of harmony, empathy, and thoughtfulness that is desired by many. You are a pillar of strength and an example to thousands of what can be reached through sheer determination and perseverance even facing odds that many are not up against. You have touched lives far beyond those around you and the threads are timeless. There is not one sentence that can describe you in all the qualities you possess and for that you can, and should be, proud of!

I received this in email and would like to share:

PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you
know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When
someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have
expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide
you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or
spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there
for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your
part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to
bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk
away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must
realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is
done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move
on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to
share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you
laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually
give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real if only
for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build
upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept
the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all
other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind
but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life,
whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

We will be praying for you and your family and may God show you the Grace and Mercy he so freely gives.

In Christ,
Keith

Wow, FM2, that is very nice.

I wish I were half of what you describe, there.
Remember.. You don't live with me so you don't know the real me. (Thank God!)

Sometimes it's easy to think someone is something when all you see is what is written. Still, I strive to be all of those things, and I will continue to strive for them as we all do, but I seriously fall short! (Lord knows!)

A couple nights ago I received another note that describes me in much worse and different words, and I appreciate the lift your note gave me! It made me smile, even if I don't think I'm half of those things!

Humor is a very dangerous tool, and almost every time I try it on the board, someone is offended, or thinks it is about them, when it isn't even close to about them, personally. So, I am learning just to avoid humor and to post nice, nice, nice. I miss trying to be funny, but it just never works for me!
Someone is bound to think that it is personalized. It's not! But... I can see how it is taken that way.

So, in the end, I thank you. I needed that!
