I have been planning a trip since the 28 of December. I hardly ever think more than a few a days ahead as it has been known to cause FLOODS of epic porportions. You know, you start getting your buddies together a week or 10 days ahead and sure as hell the night before your supposed to go it rains 3" or 4". Well, not this year.
I have 2's on 6, 1's on 8 and 10, 1/0's on 10 and 12, and just to be sure I've tied a few 2/0 and 3/0's on whatever else was handy. I've got plenty of swivels, 100's of corkies and I even got some of those EWG Gamakatsu's for my plugs (Stands for ew God those are Gamakatsu- (Gamakutsu mean - OWW those are FN sharp!))
The weather looks promising, a bit of rain and fog, showers - all most seems like Winter in the NW.
Haven't actually ever been down the stretch of River we are planning to fish. Just adds to the anticipation. I have been told to get a guide first but time and $ have not allowed that. I trust my skills on the boat and I have a fine Stearns to keep my self afloat, if the worst happens. Not only that I have painted CALL 911 on the bottom of my waders. So I have nothing to worry about. The poor fellows I'm fishing with get those wanker little orange vests.
We will be fishing the Sol Duc from the Hatchery to Maxfield or perhaps Whitcomb-Dimmel. It has been difficult to get much info about the Drift. Perhaps it is Zipperlip. Let me if I am being offensive.
We found a Cabin for $50 a night(Thankz Bob) and I will let you know how it works out. I'll even try to hack on a few pictures if we do any good.
May the FISH be with you!
PS I have posted a trade. Upper Sky for Sturgeon.
PSS RT since only you folks can delete posts, would you please delete the duplication. (One phone line, and my freakin brother picked it up) Thank You.

Edit: I deleted the extra post GutZ. And I don't see anything offensive in your post. BTW, Marty M said the Quileute system (includes the 'Duc & Bogey) was pretty high several days ago and was getting netted pretty heavy by the Indians. Hope conditions are good when you go. - RT
