I saw a pick-up the other day and he had bought the 2 or 3 inch high letters and then stuck them on his canopy that said "There is nothing in this truck worth your life" I believed it and could tell he meant it more than just the regular decal that is easy to stick on "protected by Smith & Wesson"

Yea these guys knew what they wanted the boat is backed into the shop so the kicker is not visable from the road. There was a ton of small items and larger items they could have grabed. They passed up 6000 watt generator, Air Compressor, 18 volt dewalt drill, craftsman tool box. They had to pack that motor at least 400 yards. I think i am going to make the back of my fence hot I am doing the research today cattle fence is what I am coming up with. I would like to make the whole thing 220

They got my Merc 9.9 2002 couple years back.... and then tried to sell it back to me. All this was reported to our crack Albany police force...sad fact is, if I would have assualted the guy, Id probably be the one in jail. Same guy came back about a year later and asked if I had recently found a jacket in my yard with a flashlight, screw driver, and box cutter in it. I had found the jacket and assumed it was one of my kids' or one of their friends. I gave the guy back his jacket and then warned him I didnt wanna see him EVER again. The guy used to walk by my house almost daily... I havent seen him since.

Lots of ******** around that area, I hear, stealing stuff that's relatively easy to sell or trade for their next fix. Meth is really trashing our country.
Be careful about that electric fence, cuz if you hurt the poor devils(sic), they can sue you for damages.
Too many people in this country have the attitude of: if I want it, that makes it my right; since it's my right, who's going to give it to me; and if nobody gives it to me, who do I sue??
Sorry about your loss, and invasion of your turf. Perhaps having a big dog house, visible from the road, might help. Having a big dog inside it would be a plus, too.
Question: what do you do when you come across a thief rolling around on the ground in pain?
Answer: Shoot him/her again:jester:.

Did you have any sort of lock on it? Not trying to blame you I am just wondering how safe mine is. I do Have a lock that goes over the paddles on my current kicker. I lost a 15 Merc a few years ago I had locked the paddles together so they just unbolted the bracket the kicker was mounted to.

the paddles were locked together but i know that is for honest thieves only since the pop metal will just break on the paddles. I guess I was in believe that in the comfort and saftey of my own shop I on my property thirty yards from the house that i didn't have to be on full lock down mode around here that was my mistake. I have 3 dogs all good sized and seem to be pretty on the ball to strange sounds and perk right up and start barking, but after this they are on fed administrative leave.:)

I know first hand how brave thieves can be a couple posts down is about my truck being stolen right out of my garage while we slept. I have since recovered it through an anonomous tip to the cops about the guys bragging about stealing it but the thieves were not caught. I feel your pain believe me oh and I have 4 dogs worthless mutts.

Hickory..... man what I would have given for that opportunity.
Just had someone else break the window on my 4runner. last time it was stolen(1 year ago) police said there were about 4 keys that would work all the locks on the vehicle ignition after they wore out a bit. I installed an alarm and it scared em away..... at the cost of $40 for a new window.
Its dog poop present time.... anyone not knowing what this is? Take the remnants of your dog run and place them in a box and wrap it all nice and purdy like am Xmas gift. Then leave said package in the back of your truck for a thief to find. I lose at least 1 a year and its my little way of getting even. Makes me feel better. On a positive note, Ive had quite a few people place the box in a less conspicous place or even page me in the store. So there are some good people out there too.
