North Santiam Spey Casters

Announcement

The North Santiam Spey Casters are having an informal practice session at Westmoreland’s Casting Pond this Saturday the 18th starting at 1 pm. The NSSC will conduct a spey casting clinic for anyone interested in learning how to spey cast. The club will raffle a 15’ Lamiglass spey rod at the meeting. This is your chance to win a spey rod and learn the Art and Science of spey casting from FFF Certified Casting Instructors.

Beginning instruction can be accomplished from the grass without waders, but more advance casting should be done from standing in the water. Bring waders if you wish to cast in the pond, which is 2-1/2 feet deep.

Join us for some spey casting come rain or shine

I attended this clinic and just wanted to say thanks again to the NSSC members who put this on. I am now completely addicted to spey casting. It was such a blast and I was grinning the whole time. Thanks!
