What part of the Keating unit were you in? My family has hunted there for over 40 years. They may be able to help!

The pack was lost up towards the top of boulder trail, any help would be great.

What drainage is boulder trail in? We are normally in the East eagle and main eagle drainages, also Bradley, Pine, and Katherine cr. My uncle however know that country like the back of his hand. If you could be more specific, I could give him a better starting point.

That trail is in the main eagle drainage, right at the end of that road...

Is the pack cammo or a colored one? Give me some details on what it looks like and I will talk with my uncle about it.

Sorry, it is a camo pack. I can get more info if you would like but it might take a while to contact my buddy(he's out of the state). Any help is greatly appreacated(?).

I will call my uncle and ask him if he knows this area...he should, but I ask anyway. How far in do you think you were from the end of the road?

If you go up to the end of the road, there is a trailhead for copper creek falls. Before that there are some horse corrals and two or three cabins. There is a small trail that winds up the hill to the top. That is about where it was lost...where the trail pieters out.

I hope you find it but I would bet that some bear had a good lunch and is using the bino's to look for more "lunch" meat.:smirk:
