WTB - Civil War Tickets

I know this is a long shot but what the heck, thought I'ld try..............

If any of you Beaver fans have a couple of tickets and you are unable to go this year I would be very interested in purchasing them from you.

Let me know if you do, I have a 12 yr. old daughter that asked me to try and find some tickets. How could I refuse that; a chance to spend the day with her at the big game, priceless (well not quite, it will cost me the cost of the tickets, the trip down and back, food/drink, souveniours and probably dinner on the way home. But what the heck, that's what Dad's are for).

Just go to Craigs List. No such thing as a sellout. Ticket Retriver has a bunch for sale already. Wait till a week before the game and the scalpers get nervous.

I've been watching Craigslist but as of yesterday the only ones available were more than I want to spend ($500 w/ parking pass) :bigshock: .

Check that certain internet auction site as well. Always tics available, but you will pay market price. Also be careful that you are not being sold a student ticket. Took my daughter to her first OSU game at about that age. One of my favorite memories. Miserable, with horizontal rain and wind, but she would not let us leave the stadium until it emptied out. She remembers every detail to this day. She is currently a student there and doesn't miss a game.

Just come to the game and grab a couple tickets. Cruise around the tailgaters and ask, normally they have last min cancellations of people they invited and will sell them off for cheap (an hour or less before the game).


If you go to a scalper expect to pay for it out the you know what.

I would get the tickets soon. When (not if) OSU beats UCLA this weekend and Stanford next, the Civil War game is gonna determine huge bowl possibilies for both teams. The longer you wait the higher the prices are gonna get. :twocents:
And I would not count on going to the game expecting to get cheap tickets at the last minute. Most games this would work, but the Civil War :jester: I don't think so.

Well, I just went and looked at ticketretriever (thanks capt.) and HOLLY CRAP :bigshock: those tickets are expensive. You would think they were selling tickets to the superbowl or something. Well I guess the civil war game is the equivalent to the superbowl of local college football.

So, looks like I'll have to take the girl down to the Beaver Store for some souveniuors and she'll have to be saticfied with watching it on the big screen with Dad. I'll just turn the surround sound up real loud, turn the ceiling fan on and have a water squirt bottle handy for the true game crowd/wind/rain effect :laugh:.

That's funny, see the space between the letter "l" and the letter "e" in the word "affordable" above. Well I didn't put that there and I can't edit it out, when I go to edit it's not there...........
