Didn't even know this existed here I live in Chehalis. Are the lots recreational only? Or can you put something in perminatly?

If its the 1 I'm thinking of,its about a mile below Toledo. At the mouth of salmon Creek.

It looked to me like there are mostly r.v.s there. And some park style trailers. Some have real nice decks around them.I think I remember seeing a few out buildings but dont remember for sure.

This is a pretty nice place that seems to well kept.

I checked into this for somebody off this board or the P.P. board.Sounds like its pretty hard to get into.Openings dont come up very often.

Yep, this is the one off of Heriford and Mandy roads.

No permanent structures are allowed other than 10x8 sheds for storage. However, park model trailers are allowed.

It is called the Cowlitz River Campers Country Club. Only 4 fulltime residents are aloowed and they provide security for the park, They live in park models and are all retired.

The park has an electric pass gate, most trailers have large propane tanks and we have a contract to keep them filled. By this summer, there will be a coin operated laundry set up.

If you like to fish the CVowlitz, this is the place.

Thanks for looking.

I hope it is still there? With all of the flooding this week. I sincerely hope all is well there.:)

No problem, it got close to going over the bank, but not this time.

This campground has only flooded once in the past 50 years and that was in 96 when the operator of the Mayfield dam panicked and dumped the dam WAY to fast.
