View Full Version : Anyone know about Lake Marie?

I was thinking about booking a trip next summer and wondered if anyone has fished this lake before and would like to share some info...
The only Lake Marie I know of is just outside winchester bay near the lighthouse. It is very small and stocked with trout and had a few bass and panfish DJD

Yes...that one...we'll be doing some surf fishing and such as well but was hoping that the lake offered some fun also.

It has some trout, I intentionally fished it for Bass one time and caught nothing. I have only caught trout and perch there.
if you want to fish for bass at Lake Marie, you might as well go 8 miles up the road to tenmile or eel lakes; you would have alot better luck. I believe Eel Lake has a10 mph limit if you don't want to be bothered with jet skiers or other boat traffic.
