View Full Version : Thank you SLUTGODDESS
SLUTGODDESS, We want to thank you for taking us out sturgeon fishing. What a great time! Caught 11 shakers and one keeper, two others were within 1 to 1 1/2 inches of keepers. Bill you were very nice and helpfull, we learned a lot. The SLUTGODDESS is a beautiful boat, TV/VCR and all!!! Bill, you stayed out to the very last minute, and worked very hard to get us fish. Thank you for a good time and hope we can do it again someday. Geoff and Damien.

It was a pleasure taking all of you out for the day. We had a taste of it all with wind and rain and ship traffic. Don't forget it was Salmon Shark the bait boys lucky rod that hooked up with the keeper. He is a fish magnet!
When I posted a donated trip I had know idea that such a fine family would respond. It was a day I will remember and look forward do doing it again.

Slutgoddess-
Sounds like the donated trip was a success. Hats off to you for helping someone learn the art. I am sure grateful to the people who shared some of their secrets with me and I cherish the times that I am able to help out a newcomer to the sport.

Thanks Fishfinder,
I really love to fish and take people fishing. Had a great trip.
You live in Hood river....what is your main fishing thing?
My son works for the Little White Salmon Hatchery at Drano. I would like to expand my trips to your area.
Thanks again!

SG-
You name it, I fish it. I primarily target steelhead and salmon in the area (Drano, Wind, Big White Salmon, Hood River, Columbia). I used to do a lot of sturgeon fishing around here too until the quota thing closed the season so early. But my true love is steelhead fishing on the Hood River. I've fished it for over 20 years now and never get bored with it and even catch one now and then. With the big slide on Mount Hood this fall that really silted the river up I haven't been too much. I have noticed that the color has come around a bit and am hoping that the winter fish will show up soon.

Yes, we forgot to mention Salmon Shark. He was a great bait boy, anchor setter, anchor puller and all around nice guy. His fishing pole was the hot one. We liked his stories from Alaska. Thanks again to both of you. Geoff and Damien.

Fold, lick and Stamp fishing is one of the many secrets that can only be revealed to another member of Whitewater Boaters of Oregon. It is just one of the countless advantages of being a member in this organization of fine men and women.
Next meeting is 7:00PM January 10th in Clackamas.
