Its a little late (i've been wating for the pix to be emailed to me:( ) Anyway same scenerio as last time. Center of the lake, worm on the bottom, = 12 fish. The first 2 were brutes both 18". The next 8 were between 14 and 16". We tried a worm no weight and caught some smaller fish 8 to 12". Saw most people trolling catching the small ones. We used a little secret sauce and was immediatly bit (the container is yellow and blue:wink: ) again garden hackle on the bottom. The fish were fat and fought well. There is still time to get up there. Go get em. We went last Thurs. after work. Fished from 3 to 6pm.

Great job..Do you have a snowmobile ? I believe this jewel is open all year.

Very nice catching...Days like that are a hoot...How long does it take you to get to the boat ramp from your house????

We fished from 10 till 2pm and had to work hard for the 5 that we caught. The only difference I could tell was the temp was 43 and last week it was 52.5. None with any size just 11 - 14". The docks have been pulled and the logde is closed. Most people were trolling picking up 1 here and there. Light Biters. Planning on shifting gears and targeting some larger species. Hope all that fished this weekend did well.

MM, I did fish this weekend and did allright. Allthough the weather was just to nice....what is with this weather, by now the water temp should be around 50, not 60 degrees. The fishing might have been better with a bit of cloud cover. But no - sunshine and little to no wind, man I hate beautiful weather for fishing. Sorry, do I sound negitive ? We did catch some very nice fish and missed some even nicer, any fish I miss is definitely bigger than the one I got to the boat. :laugh:
