Thanks Guys, had a good trip. I will never be able to live on the east side, WAAAY to much fishing to do. I think I would go broke!
Fished 4 hours Thursday afternoon on the Crooked. Did real good on the white fish and pretty good on the trout. Very nice spot to fish. only two other fisherman all day, plenty of fish and great weather.

We get a few days at Eagle Crest, Oct 26th - 29th, the main activity center is closed from the 23-? for remodeling. Maybe good for me:) . This could mean more fishing time! I have 2 kids that love to fish ages 5 and 8, if anyone has a recommendation of a good place to go I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, Mark.

If you want a place to bank fish I would think that Prineville and Ochoco reservoirs would be a good choice.

You might also call the Bend Park and Rec. There's a pond out at Shevlin Park, just outside of downtown Bend that they stock from time to time throughout the year. Can be a great, no brainer place to take kids if they've planted at all recently.

Fireman's Pond, I think it's on Lake Ave. over by the airport.

What about the Deschutes River? About 1/4 mile east of the Eagle Crest exit on Hwy. 26 is Cline Falls State park with about a mile of river access. The are lots of spots you could toss a small spinner or rapala.

Have fun!
