I stripped the leveler gear out of my Penn 320gti when I had one of the big boys on. After buying the .80 part and taking a hour or two putting it back together, (kid knocked the reel side over and spilled all the gears out) he was just helping.

I have used the reel since I repaired it but it seems to not be right, everthing works well but it seems not the same. Does a real need timing? I do not own a timing light for a reel.

Who was the great Reel Wizzard you all love. Help me OB1, help me...

I also need a spare spool for a old Abu Garcia Ultra mag XL, Help here??

The "good guy we all love" is Mike Osborne who operates out of his home in Newberg. Nice guy and a reel pro. He'll always tell you if a reel repair would exceed its value (not applicable in your case, but nice to know nonethless).
