Here is my favorite one this year. It has been working unbelieveably good. Size 14 Red Butt Prince Nymph.

Favorite Favorite that I used that one day they were slamming on the Trask with dries-- Royal Coachman! Yep. Not the most used, but the best one that day I most remember.

Here is a beauty from tonight. Caught it sipping bugs off the surface so I switched to a dark mahogany body with bucktail wing size 12 Stimulator.

I am fishing 40 minutes north of Seattle on the North Fork of the Stillaguamish which is fly fishing only most of the year.

Thats a beauty! I use a stimulator also. The one I've settled on has a florescent orange body, tan wing, and white rubber legs. I started using it because of all the October caddis out this time of year and if they don't take it on top I let it swing just under the surface and they can't resist.
My wife and I got into a bunch on the middle Trask the other day but nothing that big this time.

That one has a rusty/mahogany body and ginger hackle on the back and then elk hair wing section and grizzly front hackle.
I also take all the thicker bouyant part of the elk hair that I tie the tail with and tie it along the body (clipping it off behind the wing section) to add bulk and flotation to the abdomen of the fly.
