The crank bait bite was on today. I caught 18 fish on a lipples blue and chrome crank and another 8 on a craw colored speed trap.
They were hitting the lippless crank so good that all I would feel is slack in my line and they would have the whole thing down thier throat.
Average fish was 2 pounds the biggest was a 3.1 pounder. All fish released to fight another day.

No. I went solo that is why all the pics are at the launch so I can set the camera up on the timer.

Great job Clayton. Maybe next time someone will take you up on your open seat. Sorry I missed you out there. I had the boat all ready to head out there when my wife informed me she was feeling sick, so I never made it out there. I am going to try and make it out there Tuesday night and Saturday. If I can do half as good as you did I will be happy.

Id like to put around there and check it out.

I am running a prop but it is a little dicey I dinged it a few times. It looks like level is going up if you dont know where to run I would wait till it comes up a little more.

Thank you...
What does your boat look like ... I will keep an eye out for you
How long does the city keep the docks tied up at that launch in to the fall??
How long will you typically find biting bass into the fall around there??
Thank you ...

corky1,
Clayton is out on the water as we I write this so I will answer now and then let him answer when he has a chance. I talked to Clayton last night and he said he was still getting bass in November last year. The dock usually come out of the water sometime in November or whenever they get around to it.
If Clayton is on the water you will see that yellow Remington hat from about a mile away.:jester:

Went by the launch yesterday and the docks are out of the water. Not much of a surprise considering how high the water is.
