My family and me had the priviledge to visit central Oregon (Bend) to be part of a music tour with the Newsboys, Rebecca StJames and Jeremy Camp. There were several thousand people there and the Holy Spirit was alive and strong. We witnessed so many people with arms raised and flowing with the music that I got goose bumps several times. I was really impressed with the artist on how much time they spent on the stage talking about Jesus. Rebecca StJames took a chair and set it down in the middle of the stage and shared about abstience, pre-marital sex and relationships and it was really moving. Jeremy Camp shared about his marriage with his wife that passed away how she loved worship music and he would take out his guitar and worship with her, that very touching. And Peter Fuller from the Newsboys who is a PK, shared how he felt he was forced to go to church as a kid then rebelled, then realized how much he needed God in his life! It was awesome to hear his testimony and to cap it off with his music made the night a memorable one.
If anyone gets a chance to see these artists you won't be disappointed becasue they are truly ministers and not rock stars.
