View Full Version : Really could use prayer

I'm anxious about the move to Threads. I know it isn't a life or death thing, but I sure could use some prayer that the move will go as planned, and most people will be happy with it.
Thank you!
I am very tired today. Woke at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep. Then, our guy said, "Today is the day!" OK! Let's go, then!
But, thought I'd stop by here, because I know we folks have a direct line to all that calms us.

I am changing the format of ifish to a software program, new bulletin board can handle the increased traffic at ifish.
Everyone will have to learn a new program, including me!

Hey we all love a challenge, after all we are fisherpeople!
From all the good reports I have heard and read about threads it sounds great.
Besides if any of us get confused by threads we can always e-mail you or the mods!!
Just think you will never be lonely again!!
Good luck on the move and I'll say a prayer too.

I have had several moments of extreme frustration today!
However, in the midst of several of them, this overwhelming peace came over me. I can only thank my heavenly Father for this... and you guys!
Thank you!
It is overwhelming, this project... at least for me!

Jennie, I am with you and everything will work out fine. You know this , that He Is Lord, so, be at peace.

Jennie,
The Lord won't give you more than you can handle, I just hope the picture posting is easier. He he. It's awesome that you pray about these things, most people don't take the time to counsel with Jesus unless it's a life of death deal. He wants you to come to Him for everything, and nothing is too small. (not saying this is small, it's a very big deal) Anyway, keep at it, you are appreciated.

BREAKING NEWS:
The Lord has given me more than I can handle!!!
Time to pray. This new board is causing me much grief. :depressed:
I kid you not. Everything either is not working, or I need more sleep and less work.
OK, I have hit bottom, Lord. Give me strength!!!
Jen
I prayed and will continue to

There is a rush, though, unfortunately. I cannot have two licenses at once. They have graced me an extension to get it set up, but it's not very long!
So, therefore, I gulp!

It was getting better for a while, and now it's worse.
But, I'm still smiling.
Funny, my brother called, and I THINK he is going to church again.
He listed off all of these terrible stressful things going on in his life, and then said, "And I can't even get insurance from Geiko, and somehow I'm doing OK!"
Sounds like God is blessing him, still.
Anyhow, now I am praying for someone to step forward who knows this program, who could help.

Jennie, You can only do what you can do. But you already knew that. So you are in our prayers, that God give you peace, and wisdom as you work so diligently for all of us who use and enjoy ifish. God Bless You.

I'll tell you one thing, for sure.
I'm glad God is in control, because I'm sure not!
Tee hee....
No kidding though, every time I get really worried, I recall a friends e mail to me.
"I have been fascinated the last couple days
with Heb 3-4 where it compares the sabboth to the rest that Christ has brought us. That we
could live every moment in an internal rest because I know Christ's works are sufficient. I don't have very much faith in him. :-( To easy for me to be all over the map inside. May you find this place of rest."
Oh, MAY I?   I've been praying for just that, all day/week!
It did help, today, as I was getting impatient at the post office. All of the sudden the bells went off, and I remembered complete faith and rest in Him. It worked!!!

I will just throw this in for what it is worth. Everyone out there is supporting you on this transition. If they aren't they support you for what you give us and what this site provides.
Everytime I have had a great success in my life it has been preceeded by a huge failure or major difficulty. I suppose that is to remind me that things need to be worked for and the rewards are greater. I am sure this will be the same thing for you.
This site is your Everest. The glorious thing for you is that it can be taller then Everest and as you reach the summit you can make it go even higher and get greater rewards. That is something that no Everest climber can do. Once they reach the top that is as high as it goes.
Thank you for the site and the hard work.
