My son never stops putting a smile on my face.
last night I'm reading him a story, then tuck him into
bed and kiss him good night. I tell him to have "sweet dreams".
He says, "dad, I'm only going to have good dreams tonight. I'm gonna dream of going fishing and elk hunting with you"

Boy, it makes me happy knowing my kid wants to spend time with his old man doing what he loves, he even wants to dream about it.
Of course one day soon, all my good fishing gear will be missing and the boat's gas tank will be left empty.
Can I borrow the boat keys dad??

Thanks GBS, made me smile . that has got to be one of lifes greatest pleasures, knowing that our kids "like" us, not just love us, because we're their folks, but truly "like" us.my daughter can always make me smile. great post :applause:
thanks again

It's because of the time you have invested with him, that's why he loves his dad !! I still remember a picture you posted a long time ago of him on your back in a carrier when you were out fishing. It was priceless !! My hat is off to you, you are a great Dad !! :applause: :applause: :applause:

Good job GBS. It's nice to know that tommorrow could be your last day and you can look at your children and say "I did something right"
