Their is still some great bass fishing to be had let's here some stories.

Went to Clear Lake, Ca with BassinFever for 5 days and had a great trip. The weather wasn't very good for Cal but we never got rained on at least. We caught close to 100 bass in the 2 to 3lbs range with 5lbs 3 oz was the largest (my scales). The highlite of the trip was finding a school of bass on a tule point busting shad. The fish were cookie cutter 3 to 3+ lbers and we sat on it for over 2 hours catching them on pointer78 minnows. I have never witnessed a huge school of large bass doing cartwheels and chasing right in front of the boat. It was awesome and if anyone ever gets the chance to go there don't pass it up. We caught most of the fish on spinnerbaits, LVR's, pointer78's,
a couple on jigs, brushhawgs, and drop shotting also.

BassinFever caught a 5 or 6 lbs Catfish on a dropshop worm.
We were hoping it was a bass but then it started doing the twist. :dance:

Fished Greene Peter with my daughters on Sunday and caught 6 nice bass, all lg mouth. All were 2-3.5lbs which are nice fish for the lake. Caught 3 on white spinner bait shallow, then caught 3 on split shot finesse worm. Lake was very low but nice only 6 other boats out. Water was very clean and 63-65 degs.

On our way to Bend on Thursday we stopped to fish in Pine Hollow for about three hours. The water was way down and the docks and shoreline cover 50 yards from the waters edge. One small bass was all we could muster. It was full sun and hot and we couldn't find the fish on our fishfinder or with our baits. The good news it we pretty much had the lake to ourselves!!
