No joke! I submitted a letter of resignation last Monday after working for this company for a little more than 6 years. Nothing lined up yet, but have many feelers out. I have put my trust in God to lead me down the path He wants me to travel. Funny thing is that I'm not scared or nervous. I'm more relieved and excited to see what the future brings.

Kerry,
I did this 14 years ago. I totally changed occupations/industry. I, like you, was so relieved and excited about the future.
I'm sure that YOU know it is time. Change is good.
I only have the best wishes for you, for a succesful, prosperous, and fulfilling future! I know you'll be ahead in the long run, not to mention your immediate relief and curiosity regarding all of your opportunities!

Truly a leap of faith......
I'm a firm believer of having to close one door (or chapter on our life) before we can really open another. My wife and I did just such a thing, this month, three years ago. It has surpassed anything we could have ever dreamt about. Also, the implications it has had on others (this leap of faith) was something neither of us even viewed in the remote, of possibilities, but the gift of those who have shared such, has brought us to a new understanding of how our Farther shares and bestows His love on us.....
Enjoy your new journey

Kerry, I will pray for your adventure. What a step! I am sure your wife and kids are behind you and God will answer in His time and way. This inspires me. Thanks and blessings.

I kind of feel like I'm jumping out of a plane without a parachute. That said, I have no doubt that the right opportunity will be presented at the right time. I'll also have some time to explore other aspirations I've had for a while. Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers. I'll keep you all posted.

I did the same thing about a month ago.It is a big leap of faith, but, I was looking for a job when I found that one.
You'll find something else, maybe something you never dreamed of.
Good luck.
